Konrad Komornicki - Deputy President of the Personal Data Protection Office

He graduated from Kozminski University and the University of Warsaw. He has also graduated from the National Security Studies, as well as the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies (Garmisch Partenkirchen).

For more than 25 years he has been involved in the field of information security management, supervising the protection of persons and property, personal data, classified information, as well as ICT security. For more than a dozen years, parallel to his positions, he worked as a plenipotentiary for the protection of classified information.

Former member of supervisory boards in among others the insurance, postal and telecommunications sectors.

In the years 1999-2022, he served as Deputy Director of the Defence and Security Office at Poczta Polska S.A. (the Polish Post), representing it in the World Postal Security Group. In 2002 he was a member of the Board of one of the companies of Kredyt Bank S.A. Since 2003, he held the position of Director of the Security Office at the City Hall of Warsaw for 7 years. From 2010 to 2015, as Director of the Security and IT Office at the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, he, among other things, coordinated cooperation on behalf of the Chancellery with services responsible for national security. For the next two years, he held the position as a Director of the Security Office at Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A. (PGZ Capital Group), where he was, among other things, Information Security Administrator. From 2018 to 2024, he was Director of the ICT and Security Division at Warsaw Public Transport.
